Wine Country VIP (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Wine Country VIP website and mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (name, shipping address). Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth using secure, server-side sessions.

Order and transaction data

When you place an order we collect the information necessary to process and fulfill it: shipping address, order items, and payment confirmation. Payment card data is handled entirely by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers.

Usage information

We collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL) and may use analytics tools to understand how the service is used. This data is used solely to improve the product.

Error reporting

We use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry may capture technical details about errors including browser/device information. No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent to Sentry.

Age Verification

Wine Country VIP sells alcohol and requires users to confirm they are of legal drinking age (21+ in the United States) before completing a purchase. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 21.

We share your information only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting
Medusa — order management and storefront infrastructure
Payment processors — to complete transactions (card data is never stored by us)
Sentry — error monitoring
Winery partners — order details shared with the winery fulfilling your order

Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember cart contents, and support authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

Account and order data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal and business obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Mobile Application

The Wine Country VIP mobile app is a native WebView wrapper that loads this website. The native app shell does not collect any personal data independently. All data practices described in this policy apply equally to the mobile app.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
